What’s The Problem?

We’ve all been there, you’ve got somewhere you need to be, you get into your car and go to start the engine. You put the key in the ignition, turn it and nothing happens, or you hear a clicking noise or it just turns over very slowly and then nothing happens. Usually this means there is something wrong with the battery but it’s doesn’t always have to be replaced.

What Could Be The Cause?

If the battery light suddenly lights up on your dashboard most people would assume that there must be a fault with the battery and that it needs replacing. This is not always the case, sometimes it can just be that the battery is not being charged due to an alternator problem. Likewise it could just be low voltage in the electric system and this could be down to a dirty terminal/bad connection.
